Entrapped
Everyone said that he must have just run away when Suga didnt return from the woods near the city. Hed always said he was just going to up and leave one day, to find his fame and fortune elsewhere, and most were convinced he finally had. Sure, the police performed a cursory search but when they found no evidence of foul play or anything to indicate something had happened to him, they wrote him off like yesterdays news.Sunny knew her baby brother though, and she didnt believe it for a second. When one week turned into two and nothing changed with no word from him, she determined that she was going to find out what happened to her brother one way or the other. And if Namjoon wasnt going to give her a hand, then shed just go search for him alone. It may not have been her best idea ever. Foreword It was getting dark by the time Sunny finally decided it might be a good time to give up for now and head back in. Her flashlight was still fully charged and she had more than enough food to last her through the night but she wasn’t foolish enough to go searching in the dark with who-knew-what prowling around out there. “Dammit, Suga. Where are you?” she exhaled worriedly, running a hand through dark blonde locks, tossing medium length strands back with an annoyed flick. Fidgeting in place, she pulled her light jacket around her just a bit tighter and brushed her hands off on her denim short covered legs. Since the police had searched the area already, she really didn’t know that she’d be able to do much better but she had to try. Even if he was… well, if the worst had happened, he at least deserved some sort of acknowledgement. Her throat grew tight at the thought and she stared into the sparse woods intently. Somehow, she would find him. Just not today… Sunny finally turned around to make the trek back to her car but froze when she heard a branch snap nearby. “What was that?” she whispered to herself, reaching inside her jacket to pull out the small can of pepper spray she’d brought just in case. It wouldn’t do anything against something like a bear, which weren’t particularly common in the area anyway, but it was deterrent enough for most other things without fail. “Hello?” she asked softly, pivoting in a full circle with cautious eyes. Finishing her turn, she inhaled sharply and froze, eyes going wide in her face as she realized there was a fairly imposing figure standing up the path from her, directly in her way. In the lessening light of day, she couldn’t tell if they were male or female, garbed in dark baggy clothes from head to toe, some sort of a mesh screen covering their face, obscuring it from view. All she knew was they were tall and… creepy. “Hello?” she tried again, clinging to the last vestiges of optimism as a sick feeling of fear bubbled in the pit of her stomach. Her pepper spray didn’t feel so adequate anymore and she took a hesitant step back when the person moved her direction. “Stay back!” she yelled reactively, holding her only weapon up defensively, trying to maintain her rapidly fading façade. It shattered entirely when the figure picked up speed to run at her, breaking her courage, and she screamed, turning to flee further into the woods without thought or direction. ~~~~~~ First off, this was partially inspired by a dream I had. I took some heavy creative liberties with it to give it some manner of sense and turn it into a bit of a horror piece but I think it turned out decent. ;) Its not particularly gory exactly but there is some language, a bit of violence, and... um... implied gore.Dont ask me why I wanted to make them siblings, but personally, I think that the stage names mesh remarkably well. Sunny and Suga = sweet and happy dispositions. Though you may see a different side of them here. ;) hehe Anyway. Feel free to check it out and I hope you enjoy. ^_^Original poster done by s3xyangel at Forbidden Dreamers Poster Shop. ^_^Reviewed by Rhapsodos at Love Reading Review Shop. ~~ 46/50 "Loved it.
