He Who Really Cares
With all the stress of comebacks and MVs Ae Chus fiance, Xiumin, has been feeling the pressure of fans wanting him to be shown more in MVs. He starts to believe that he needs to lose more weight, that he isnt a good singer. This all starts to go out of hands as Ae Chu simply said that it hurts her to see him like this. And with that, Xiumin tells her to leave the house and take the things she needed with her. When she does and was about to leave the house, Xiumin asks for one thing back in return. The ring. The ring that was given to her as a token of marriage. The only thing that Ae Chu didnt want to give, yet had to. Was this going to be the end of her engagment? Foreword It’s been well over 2 years when Ae Chu had met him. He made Ae Chu’s heart skip a beat. He made Ae Chu smile. Laugh. All the things Ae Chu wanted in a guy. He was just, perfect to Ae Chu. But to him, he didn’t think of himself as “Perfect.” He thought of himself as someone disgusting. Ugly. Fat. He didn’t see himself as the perfect fiancé Ae Chu saw him as. And it hurt Ae Chu to see her fiancé, Minseok, to think of himself as that. “Minseok. Stop. Just stop it already. You’re perfect. You’re amazing!” Ae Chu said in the most cheerful yet concerned way. Ae Chu’s fiancé sat on the couch while Ae Chu squatted in front of him looking into his eyes. “No,” He stated, “I’m not perfect. Nor am I amazing. I hate how I look. I want to change! To make my fans proud of how I look.” “But they aren’t Your real fans if they think that you need to change...” Minseok put his head in his hands in both sadness and frustration. “I barely get any screen time in the MV’s that we put out because of my looks.” “Minseok!” Ae Chu shouted. He jumped a bit in surprise at the raise in volume of her voice and looked up at her. “I love you, Minseok. And it hurts me to see your despise your own well being. I wish you would just stop.” “Then if it hurts you, just leave.” Minseok said in a stern voice. “What?” Ae Chu’s eyes widened in surprise. “You heard me. Just leave! If you think I’m hurting you, then obviously this relationship is not working out!” Ae Chu got up with her hands in fists and yelled, “Then I will! I’ll leave you! From here on out, you and I are over! We have nothing more to say to each other. I’m going to live with someone else.” Ae Chu walked towards the closet and brought out a suit case and headed towards the bedroom. “Fine with me! And while you’re at it, give me the stupid ring back!” He followed her towards the bedroom. She threw the open luggage on the bed and threw all her clothes in it and zipped it up. “Take your clothes. Leave non of them behind, because if I see any piece of clothing, I might get sick and burn them.” Minseok said while leaning against the door frame. She stepped out of the room with her luggage only to be grabbed by the arm with an angry look on Minseoks face. “The ring. Give it back.” Ae Chu looked at him with sad yet burning frustration. She took off the ring, and threw it at his face. The ring dropped to the ground and he let go of her arm and picked it up. “Well? What are your waiting for? The door is right there.” He said while pointing at the door that would end everything she ever had with him once she stepped out of the house. Ae Chu stomped her way to the door and slammed it hard enough for everyone in the neighborhood to hear. She hailed for a taxi and told the cab driver the address of herr friends house. “Are you serious? He just plainly told Ae Chu to give back the ring and leave?”Her friend, Su-Hyun asked with her jaw wide open. “Yeah...” Ae Chu answered, wiping the tears away from her cheek as she hugged a pillow. “I don’t know what to do anymore, Su-Hyun. I really think our marriage is officially done for.” She leaned her head back against the wall and stared at the ceiling. Memories came flooding into her head of all the good times she had with Minseok. Ae Chu buried her face into the pillow hiding her eyes as more tears bursted out. “I honestly don’t know what to say, you. But maybe give him some time to cool down. That’s all that I can think of. But for now, rest.” Su-Hyun said and walked to turn off the light and climbed on to an air mattress as Ae Chu laid on her bed.
