For as long as I can remember I have been forbidden to do such things, but that has never stopped me from enjoying life to its fullest. When I was six years old, I was diagnosed with a degenerative heart condition. My parents were devastated when the doctor told them that their daughter may never live past the age of twenty five. Seeing as how my eighteenth birthday is in just two weeks, that doesn’t exactly give me a lot of time. Judging by the doctor’s estimate, I have about seven years left to live. Guess I’ll just have to make those years count now won’t I?Today just so happens to be an unusually eventful day for me. We’re moving. At my old home, the doctor told us he had done everything he could do for me. It was a small town hospital, so it didn’t have all the latest up-to-date technology. That’s when my parents decided to move and have me relocated to one of the best hospitals in the country. I was really excited about getting to experience someplace new, but at the same time I was sad that I had to leave the place I grew up in.
