Pairing: LayhanWord Count: 433Summary: n/aNotes: inspired by 9muses' "Ticket"  he left one day on a train.and yixing leaves on a train one day, too. he doesn’t quite know why he does it, he doesn’t leave to go find luhan, he doesn’t go to find out why luhan left either. he leaves, just because he wants to.yixing racks up more than enough vacation days at his corporate job, hardly ever sick due to his vitamins, exercise, and general health living habits that yixing’s learned from being raised by his grandmother. yifan sends passive aggressive emails to yixing to use all these vacation days that he’s gathered over the years that he’s worked at his job. it’s not that yixing’s a bad employee, in fact, he’s stellar. his work performance helps boost the company and every review that the company’s received about yixing is nothing short of glowing about the dimpled man. it’s just that sometimes, yifan thinks that yixing needs to....relax.so when yixing knocks on his boss’ office one tuesday morning with his time off request, yifan barely glances at the dates listed and nods his consent, sending yixing off on his merry way. yixing goes off on a train, just to go, go to rediscover the wonder he used to view the world with, go to find himself again, go to redefine the morals and his fundamental views that he sees his life and himself, and most of all, he goes to find himself.the accountant never tells anyone that when luhan left on that train, yixing’s sure that luhan took a bit of yixing that allowed him to love that man enough to let him go on this adventure, on this trip that luhan and yixing didn’t know when luhan was coming back. if at all.so yixing finds it easy enough to ask zitao to look after his cat for the duration of his trip, finds it simple too easy to ask his kind old landlady to look after his apartment for a few months (she doesn’t even make him pay the rent, simply insists that the apartment will be kept in pristine shape and that she wouldn’t take a single yuan of his money during his time away. she says it’s because out of all the renters that she’s had over the years, yixing’s her favorite. and because he’s always paid rent on time.), and he doesn’t even hesitate when he steps off the train platform and into that train that will take him away from the city and hopefully, take him to find that person that he lost so many years ago when a train took luhan away from him.  Talk to me if you wanna         Tumblr  LJ  Twitter
