Chapter 6 (1/1)

Chapter 6;Sehun lightly smacked his head three times, releasing a weary sigh. Jongin only knew one side of the story and he’s debating to himself if he should tell Jongin his side of the story. He was alone in the Oh household, clearly bored since it’s a Saturday. His best friend is already working and he can’t just randomly call him just so they could hang out. Standing up from his lying position, he hurriedly went downstairs and wears the first pair of shoes that he laid eyes on and took the eyes before going out of the house. He texted Jongin while walking in a fast pace. He’s definitely going to tell him now. He has to know it. If only I told the truth… Sehun frowned and broke into a run. The bell rang. The door opened seconds later, revealing Jongin. He smiled and let him entered. Sehun’s eyebrows furrowed upon hearing laughter from the kitchen. He glanced at the older male, “Surprised?” Jongin shrugged. “What brings you here?” He asked. “Who’s the visitor?” Sehun asked, ignoring his question. Jongin grumbled under his breath, “Kyungsoo hyung.”It made Sehun wonder. Isn’t he visiting Sarang too often? He’s a college student and a barista at the same time. He wondered how Kyungsoo gets to have so much time in his hands for his sister. He asked him once about his feelings towards her and he denied it.“Sehun-ah,” Jongin’s voice rang in his head, snapping him out of his thoughts. Once their eyes met, Jongin repeated his question, “What brings you here?”“Ah…” Sehun looked down and muttered, “Can we speak privately upstairs?” Sehun’s phone rang, breaking his sentence. A message appeared on the screen and he read it: “Tell Kai our plane left or something. I don’t want to see him.” It was Sarang. Sehun sighed, clearly stressed about the situation he’s in.The words he said weren’t clearly true. No, none of the shit he just told Jongin were true. He was ordered by Sarang and as much as he opposed by what she told him to do, he just can’t.He doesn’t know what the hell happened to Sarang, but he’s not blind not to notice the sudden change of her personality. Obliging the younger sibling, Sehun continued his sentence, “Nevermind. They just entered the plane.”His lips were itching to say the truth right now, but he didn’t want to disappoint Sarang. He patted his shoulder before giving him a hug, “My flight will arrive soon. I’ll miss you.” Of course, another set of lies.Feeling a heavy heart, Jongin muttered, “I’ll definitely miss you too.” Jongin rubbed the back of his neck, sighing after Sehun’s brief story. “You little…” Jongin didn’t bother continuing his sentence. He didn’t know how to react; it was short, yet it was an important truth to be known. But Sehun didn’t say it, only after three years have passed.Laughter from downstairs was heard. Jongin frowned, “She seems close with Kyungsoo.” Sehun hummed and leaned back, resting his hand on the cushion for support. “It started when the hyungs visited me at our house. At that time, Kyungsoo hyung was late because of his work. We didn’t know why, usually because he’s the first one to arrive in our group. But looking back now, I finally know why.” “Sehun-ah,” the hyungs gathered around, hugging the used-to-be-black-haired male tightly. The last one to hug him was Luhan, his best friend and partner in crime. Some were in the verge of tears, while Luhan… he was already crying his eyes out. Luhan sniffed and turned to the members, for some reasons, counting them. His eyebrows furrowed, noticing there was one missing.“Who’s missing?” They looked around. They’re sure Jongin wouldn’t be around, knowing Sehun went up to him personally at school for some reasons Sehun won’t say. “Kyungsoo.” Lay answered and Sehun sighed, scratching the side of his neck, “Where is he? He’s usually the first.”The door abruptly opened, “Sorry, I’m late.” “Yes, captain obvious. Now mind explaining why you’re late? Sehun has a plane to catch.” Luhan rolled his eyes and Kyungsoo sheepishly grinned, “I was dismissed late from work.” Before anyone could comment, the door opened once more and entered Sehun’s younger sibling, Sarang. They all gulped and bowed to the younger one and she coldly stared at them before going upstairs. “You were with her?” Kris asked, pointing at the staircase Sarang just passed. Kyungsoo shook his head, “I didn’t even know that was your sister.” He said, looking at Sehun. He shrugged his shoulders, “I could have introduced her to you guys but…”“But…?” The members leaned forward unconsciously, waiting for his next sentence. “Wrong timing.” Sehun muttered, sending an apologetic look towards them. ~ * ~ “What’s that you wanted to tell me again?” Sarang asked as she broke a piece of toblerone and handed it to Kyungsoo, who imme
