2. The First Time You Kis (1/1)

The sun streamed through the shades, gently coaxing you out of sleep. Everything was quiet in the house, indicating that your uncle and aunt were already gone at work. You instinctively snuggled closer to the mass beside you and Kris brought you tighter against him.The shape-shifter was still fast asleep, his breathing steady and mouth slightly opened, his breath running down your back and under your shirt, making you shiver. During the night, both of you moved to comfortable positions- Kris’s arms wound around you, one of his hands on your back and the other resting on the ridge just barely above the shorts you were wearing. One of your hands was in a fist on his chest, while the other one wound around his shoulder, bringing you closer. Your legs were tangled together, not even a breath of air between you.Your body acted on its own- it was far too early for you to control it, as you placed a kiss over the defined collarbones Kris possessed. His skin felt heavenly against your lips and so you moved up, trailing open mouthed kisses on his neck and jaw and face. You moving up caused his hand that was on the lower of your back slip down to your ass, but you didn’t care.He was close- he was far too close for you not to do anything and so without a second thought, you kissed him. Your lips molded perfectly with his and you leaned away just for a second to press another kiss against him, more urgent this time. You were caught by surprise when his lips pressed back against your with the same urgency, the large hand palming your backside. You gasped as Kris groaned, his hips grinding into yours, before you found yourself on your back with him above you.“What are you doing to me…” he moaned heavily, covering your lips before you could answer, his tongue already coaxing his way into your mouth and stroking against your tongue. You mewled in his arms, your hold around his shoulders tightening and bringing him down on you. You wanted, you needed more of him, or you would explode. Kris probably felt the same way, because he had you panting for air with another deep thrust of his hips. You pulled on his hair roughly, earning yourself a growl and his lips pressed hard against yours. Kris leaned away with a final nibble on your lips, before traveling down to the expanse of your neck.“God…” he groaned against your skin, latching on a random spot and sucking, getting a gasp from you. You wrapped your legs around his waist and pressed him tightly against you, resulting that the soft sucking turned into nibbles full of teeth and tongue.“Kris…” you panted breathlessly, as he marked your neck before growling deeply. He rolled over once again, ending sitting up with his back against the headboard and you in his lap. He cupped your face in his large hand, gently stroking your face much like he did last night.“Don’t ever do that again…” his voice was deep and husky, and you were afraid that he was angry, but the way he kissed you so gently after that made you reconsider.“I promised you to explain everything in the morning, not take you the first thing I open my eyes.” He told you with a grin. You nodded at him, mirroring his grin and biting your lower lip absentmindedly. It made his eyes darken, a growl rumbled in his chest and his hands traveled down your back to your ass, palming it and pushing you against him.“You have no idea how tempting you look right now…” he muttered hotly, covering your lips in a deep kiss again, before moving away. The hands on your backside stayed though. Not that you minded.“Ask whatever you want to know.” He encouraged you with a smile, leaning his head against the headboard. You stilled your hands on his chest, so they wouldn’t go traveling and interrupt your talking session.“Who are you...or what are you?”  You asked unsurely. Your fingernails gently scratched his skin and Kris squeezed your ass in retaliation.“My name is Kris Wu and I live on the other side of this forest…and…I’m a werewolf…” he gently started off, studying your face for any trace of disbelief, yet you didn’t even bat an eyelash, watching him intently.“I belong to a pack of wolves and we protect the city.”“From?”“Vampires.” You lifted an eyebrow at his answer.“Vampires exist, too?” he cracked a smile at you.“Why wouldn’t they, when werewolves exist as well?”  You blushed.“I know, but, I mean, it’s…” he chuckled, stilling your babbling with another kiss on your lips.“And what happened to you?” you asked once he leaned away, a little breathless.“Vampire attack…we were outnumbered.”  Blood froze in your veins at the realization of how real the threat of vampires was.“And…are they…gone?” Kris nodded, one of his hands coming up to stroke your cheek.“Yeah. I killed the last one when it was running away and then…you found me.”  He smiled softly and you did as well, swooping in for another kiss. You wanted to lean back but the hand on your cheek went to the nape of your neck, holding you to him a little longer.“And…” your voice was a little deeper when you rested your forehead against his.“Yes?” he urged you on with a smile- he loved to see what his kisses were doing to you.“What about us?”  Kris sighed, kissing you briefly once more, before moving back a bit.“Well…this is a little hard to explain…we werewolves have a certain…something, that helps us find our mates.” You raised your eyebrows again, at his flustered state. He looked so cute, being nervous.“Mate?”“I-I mean. Soulmates. Partners. Our other halves. It’s something that has to do with our DNA and the pull is supposed to find the ideal partner for us.”“And that’s how you found me?” Kris nodded solemnly.“I don’t remember a lot from that night. I was on the verge of life and death and yet, something pulled me to you. Hearing your voice kept me alive.” If it would have been anyone else, you would discarded it as being sappy, but seeing how serious he was about it…it made you believe.“We heal faster when we are with our partner, that’s why I was able to recover so quickly with you.”  He paused for a while, making sure you were taking it all without much difficulty.“Werewolves are…very protective over their mates.”  He continued gently, rubbing your arms. It was as if he didn’t get enough of touching you.“That’s why when I left your room to find something to wear and I heard you cry, I freaked out. I…I just couldn’t stand the idea of you being hurt while I was close-by and able to prevent it…”“And what about…” your cheeks blushed again as you played with the strands of his hair.“What about?...” he encouraged you to press on with your question.“What about t-the…need…” you were almost reduced to an embarrassed whisper, looking away from him. That’s when he understood.“Oh, that.” You nodded silently.“Well, the pull that brings us to our partners…”“Yeah?”“It doubles in intensity during mating season. Werewolves with partners are very nervous and snappy during that time because they want to spend all their time with them and the ones without are even worse.”“Why?”  You looked at him finally, relaxing in his arms once again.“Because they aren’t theirs yet. And there’s the fear of their partners being taken away from them…”“Oh.” That’s why Kris was so sensitive to your touches.“And how do you…know your partner is yours?”“We…well, we mark them.”“Like this?”  you took his hand and placed it over the hickey he made on your neck. His thumb brushed over the bruise apologetically.“Well…not exactly, but we do a lot of these during marking.”“Marking?...Yo-OH.” It finally clicked in your head and your heart started beating fast. Kris must’ve seen the panic in your eyes, because his own widened as well.“Oh, no, it doesn’t mean that we have to- I mean-…” he pinched the bridge of his nose and took a deep breath, calming himself.“This doesn’t mean we have to do anything right now…I would never force you into anything, alright?” you slowly started to calm, and you rested your head against his shoulder. Kris’ arms wound around you and brought you closer to him.“I’m glad…I mean…I want to be with you.”  His arms tightened around you when you said that.“But I don’t want to hurry everything…I guess we started off pretty quickly, right?”  You chuckled nervously and Kris laughed with you.“I guess we did.”  He agreed with you, gently stroking your back.“Let’s take it slow from now on, hm?”  You nodded into his shoulder, a lazy morning feeling overcoming you.You settled into him more comfortably, until you both dozed off in each other’s arms.
