Night of the Hunter (1/1)
Breakfast seemed to go on forever; in Zelo's opinion. No matter how much everyone ate, there seemed to still be loads left. He tried to focus on anything else, but the elder sat next to him. Bang was still chatting with CL and to be fair, they seemed to get along really well. Zelo felt his insides twist a little; CL seemed to know how to talk to Bang properly and she knew how to live this sort of life. "Unlike me." The teen spoke quietly to himself. Daehyun turned to him from his other side. He heard the words faintly over all the other talking; he had good hearing after all. "Are you okay?" He asked when the teen looked up from his plate. Zelo turned to him in surprise, he didn't really expect anyone care really. "I'm fine, Hyung. Really." He smiled cutely at the elder. Daehyun smiled back; Zelo had called him Hyung. He knew he should be happy about that, it would represent how close they had gotten. But, it just made him feel even more guilty for what he had done. "That's good." Daehyun turned the other way again; only to see Jiyong looking towards them. He felt the intense guilt again and looked to the table. Youngjae noticed the elder's action and leaned towards him. "Dae, what's the matter?" He spoke in his soft voice, a concerned look on his face. Daehyun smiled and stroked the younger's cheek. "Nothing's wrong. I'm just a little tired." He lied and took another bite out of his toast, though he fist really feel that hungry anymore. He put the toast down and reached for his juice, just sipping on it casually. "Daehyun. Something's obviously wrong. You're not eating." Youngjae sounded worried if anything. He stared at the elder with big eyes, wanting to know what was wrong. "I'm fine, Jae. I've already eaten loads." Daehyun tried to defend himself, though he'd hardly eaten anything compared to how much he usually ate. "Dae, I'm worried." Youngjae frowned, a cute pout forming on his lips. "Please tell me what's wrong." "Okay," Daehyun gave in; he didn't want to keep it from Youngjae anyway. "I feel regretful and guilty all of the time." "W-why?" The younger's voice stuttered slightly. Daehyun looked over to him until he realised what the younger was probably thinking. "It's nothing to do with you, Jae. It's about Zelo and Jiyong." He caressed Youngjae's cheek with his thumb as he gently held his face. The younger blushed and a look of relief washed over his features. "It's about Choi Seunghyun, isn't it?" Youngjae guessed and Daehyun just nodded. "Don't let it eat away at you. What's done is done. Zelo doesn't hate you..." "I want to tell Jiyong." Daehyun spoke confidently. Youngjae's eyes widened slightly, the elder looking completely and deadly serious. "Are you sure that's wise?" The younger asked in a unsure tone. Daehyun shook his head, but he wasn't going to back down from his idea. He quickly stood up from his chair, capturing Zelo's attention again. "Hyung?" The teen looked confused as Daehyun walked around the table and towards Jiyong. No one else cared and just carried on with their own conversations. Zelo looked over to Youngjae and saw that the elder looked quite frightened. "Jiyong-ah, can I please talk to you?" Daehyun asked politely as he was stood beside her chair. Jiyong looked up to him with a confused face but she turned to look at him anyway. "Is there something wrong, Daehyun-ah?" She seemed a little worried and it made all of Daehyun's guilt come back. The BAP member stood straight before he bowed to her. "I just want you to know that..." He paused, feeling like he should rehearse the words in his head first. "Please stand straight, Daehyun. I hate people being so polite." Jiyong chuckled and the younger did as he was told at once. "I'm the one that... k-killed Choi Seunghyun." Daehyun stated. Taemin looked at him with wide eyes from Jiyong's side; she had told the teen about her husband last night. Even Shindong looked shocked. Jiyong was completely silent as she stared at the younger. Daehyun felt guilt inside of him again, this was so horrible. This feeling. He glance over to where Youngjae was sat and their eyes met. "I'm really sorry for what I've done." Daehyun bowed again. Jiyong just turned back to her food, not really wanting to talk to the other. Daehyun took that as a sign that he should leave. He sat back down on his chair and stared at his plate. "Daehyun." Youngjae soft voice came from the side; the elder melted into it and leaned on Youngjae's shoulder. "I did it. Now she seriously hates me." Daehyun sighed as the younger stroked his hair softly. Zelo looked confused. "What did you tell Umma?" He asked in a curious tone. Daehyun sat back up again, leaning back in his chair. "That I killed your Appa." The elder deadpanned, not wanting to open the door for a discussion about it. Zelo's eyes widened and he glanced over to his mother. Jiyong was talking to Shindong again, like Daehyun hadn't even gone up to her. "Attention everyone!" Yesung called from the was of the table. He was stood up, but he was short so there wasn't much height when he stood. "We all know who murdered Heechul-ah... So, I'd like to discuss how we're going to deal with Soul Connection." Bang tensed slightly and growled under his breath. The entire dining room went completely silent; no one dared talked or made a suggestion. "Well obviously we need to get rid of all thirteen of them. Their gang has been responsible for more crimes then all of us put together." Onew spoke from the top of the table. "Not Maslo." Bang stayed in a dark tone. Onew blinked continuously for a while. "Why? He's a Soul Connection member as well. And since they're all about loyalty, Malso will surely avenge them." The SHIN leader said in a matter-of-fact tone and pissed Bang off. "He helped me. That pretty much counts as betrayal to SC and loyalty to me. Does it not?" The BAP leader growled down the table. "I could have just been to earn your trust." Kangin stated from his seat. He wasn't a gang member or anything, but he knew about these sorts of things. "You don't know him like I do." Bang gritted his teeth. "How do you know him then?" Key asked in a blunt, yet wicked tone. Everyone's attention was on Bang; only BAP knew about his past with SC. Not even Yesung or Shindong knew about it. "You know the laws Soul Connection live by," Onew spoke up, "once a member, always a member. That's what they always say." Bang furrowed his brows a little; that obviously wasn't true, even though it really did kiss CSP off when it wasn't followed. Zelo looked to the leader, feeling a little confused. "Yongguk?" He whispered to the elder and tugged his sleeve. "Yeah." Bang leaned to him, so that he could hear better. CL was watching closely as the two at the other side got a little to close. "Don't they know about... J-Jepp?" Zelo felt a little frightened saying that name. The dream that he had defiantly fucked up his brain a little. "Of course not." Bang whispered back to the teen. "SC is the most feared gang in the whole of Asia. Do you think all these people would be allies if they knew about Jepp?" Zelo just shook his head, making the leader sigh. "What's Jepp?" CL asked in a loud voice from the other side of the table. Everyone looked down to the end of the table, making Bang growl. Zelo's eyes widened; how did she hear them. The other BAP members looked just as shocked. If they all learnt about Jepp Blackman, there was a chance they wouldn't get help. "What is it, Zelo?" CL smiled sweetly, an obvious facade. Zelo looked about at everyone, they were all looking at his closely. They all wanted to know what Jepp was. "Come on kid, tell us." Donghae spoke from the side. "Zelo, why aren't you telling us?" Taemin inputted. The youngest in the room started to feel even more uncomfortable. "Just tell us." Siwon yelled from the head of the table. "If it's gonna help with the Soul Connection problem..." "Come on." Minzy sounded grumpy again, like she usually did. "Tell us." Leeteuk leaned over the table so that he could see better, "don't keep it inside." Zelo felt a little claustrophobic with the amount of questions and angry voices closing in on him. He looked to Bang for help and the leader growled, before he stood up and leaned in his hands over the table. "Everyone shut the fuck up and leave Zelo out of this." He growled and all of the other voices drowned out. "Jepp is the name of the Soul Connection Maknae. Jepp Blackman." "I didn't know that." Minho whispered to Jonghyun. Conversations were erupting around the dining room again. It seemed Minho wasn't the only one; most of the younger gang members didn't know. "Jepp Blackman has always jus
