Another memory flashes once again in Soojung's mind. Time: - 2007. Setting:- Seoul High School. Soojung was been bullied by the other schoolmates. Her hair was pulled by several girls. Her cheeks were slapped by a few couple of girls. They were laughing evily while kicking her legs, pulling her hair until it really look totally messy, slapping her cheeks until it really look red. Soojung was a weak person, she doesn't have any energy to fight them back plus she was scared to do it and the only thing that she could do is, let them people hit her up. She couldn't really breathe properly that time, she thought that she might just die but then, "Yah! You bunches of stupid people! Stop bullying Soojung!" Jongin shouted loudly as he found out that his best friend were being bullied by bunches of stupid brainless people. Due of his scary and loud voice and yes, he was the one of the prefect that everybody would scared of, they stop bullying Soojung and ran away like rats and mice that were finding for their shelter once they knew there's a cat around them. "Soojung-ssi, are you okay?" He ran towards Soojung who were on the ground, hugging her knees and crying. It's not that she's crying because she was hurt or scared of those stupid brainless people but she was crying because there's someone that would save her life and that person is Kim Jongin. She doesn't know how to repay back everything he did to her. She doesn't know what will happen to her life. She must be dead already that time if Jongin doesn't there for her. The more Soojung cried, the more Jongin looked worried. "Do you need water? Are you alright? Are you in pain?" Jongin kept asking her tons and tons of question and it could only made Soojung laughed and shook her head. Jongin was confused when Soojung was laughing. He thought that she would be in pain right now but why she's laughing? "Your expression look funny." After he heard Soojung's sentence, he felt relief that Soojung was fine but he doesn't care about his expression, at least Soojung is fine, he would be alright too. Time: - 2012."Jongin-ssi, are you okay?" Soojung looked at Jongin worriedly. Jongin kept coughing and coughing non-stop. She knew that his answers would be, I am fine no worries but still, she was worried with him. He chucled at her question. "How many times I have to tell you that I'm fine, Soojung-ah. Don't worry too much about me." He flashed her a big wide grin and messed up her hair like he always did. Soojung was still frowning, looking at him worriedly. Jongin had never been suffering cough this long before. He usually would get cough once a year and it would heal at the shortest time but this time, it's for months already. She often saw him eating a few medicines during their lunch break and he would end up sleeping a few minutes after that. Whenever she asked him if he's fine or vice versa but he always answer it yes, he is fine. But Soojung is Soojung, she had the feelings that he isn't She wanted to know and keep asking him but at the same time, she doesn't want to push him with the questions either. Jongin isn't in the class for a few days. He doesn't enter the college either. Soojung doesn't see him anymore. She kept calling Jongin and it would end up by getting into a voicemail. She kept messaging him but he doesn't reply any of her messages. She even contact his parents but his parents doesn't respond her, not even once. She kept worrying about Jongin. She couldn't sleep well because of him either. She kept wondering what happen to him and she had a bad feelings about it. Her heart was empty, no feelings inside. It isn't like when Jongin is around, her heart would keep beating happily. She wanted to know what happen to Jongin. It's been a week that Jongin doesn't enter the college. Due of her curiousness and worriedness, she went to Jongin's house. She knocked the door once. Nobody answer. This time, she knocked it thrice. Still, no answer. She doesn't care anymore. She kept knocking and knocking it and shouted "Jongin-ah! Jonginnnnn!" The door finally opened and revealed his mother. "Omma, where's Jongin?" Yes, she called Jongin's mother 'omma' because her family and his are very very close. His mom doesn't speak a word but she let Soojung in. The house seem quiet and sorrowful. She doesn't know why but she felt like crying when she enter the house. Nobody speak anything. There's only the fan sound that could be heard. Nothing could be heard beside than that. Soojung sat on a soft with her worried expression plastered on her face. After a few minutes, Jongin's mother came to sit beside her. There was a paper in her hand. Soojung couldn't help herself but to ask his mother where's Jongin. "He - he passed away." A few droplets of tears escaped from her mother's eyes. Soojung widen her eyes, unbelieve of what came out from his mother's lips. She couldn't help herself but to cry out loudly. "Omma, this is not fun to be joke." "I'm not joking, darling. He had a serious unknown sickness. His heart couldn't function well. The doctor said it might just stop functioning all sudden and it did when Jongin was sleeping. He told me don't ever tell you about this but instead, give this letter to you." Jongin's mom haded Soojung a letter. Soojung was totally sad and broke, she doesn't know what to think and to do anymore. This isn't the reality for her. The reality wouldn't be this sad and heart broken. She knew that Jongin were sick all these time but why he doesn't tell her about it? She took the paper and read, " Hello Soojung-ssi, you might be reading this when I'm no more there for you. I'm sorry that I didn't tell about this to you. I couldn't tell you about it and I don't want to tell you either. I wrote this after I know that I'm having the sickness and I knew that I would leave you whenever my time is up. Soojung-ssi, we are friends since we were in diapers. We had a lot of sweet and fun memories so as sad and depress memories together. You had never felt bored being my friend. I am really glad about it. Nobody could replace you in my heart, you are always the very first one. I'm sorry because I can't keep our childhood promise that we will get marry one day. I really wish that I would be able to get marry with you and be your only man but it seem like everything wouldn't come true, am I right because right now is the truth. I love you so much, I really do. I'm sorry for not able to express my feeling whenever I'm around you except when we were a little because I knew, you wouldn't understand it. You were so adorable and cute when you were little but you grew up to be a gorgeous lady every single that and it could make every guy's heart melt including mine. I wish that you will find a good man that could protect you and take a good care of you. I don't want this letter to end up sadly. Don't cry anymore, I hate it and keep smiling. Look up at the night sky and stars and you would always see me there. I love you and I would always love you.- Jongin."This time, Soojung couldn't help herself but to cry out ludly. Another piece of her heart had gone just like that. She wish that she could turn the time back normal and enjoy her life every single second with him and how she wish that she could make his life cheerful before he's gone, but there's no way to turn back the time. Jongin's mother hugged her tightly in her embrace and patted her back softly. "Don't cry. Jongin hates it." Time: - Present. Setting:- In Soojung's room. The memories are totally painful for her. She let the tears flow , she doesn't care about it anymore. Why does a perfect and right man for her would always go so fast? She wants Jongin to be with her forever because she had always know that Jongin is for her and she is for Jongin, but why fate is too evil to break them up. She let her feet touched the floor before she got up and walked towards the balcony. She looked at the night sky and the stars which are shining brightly and beautifully. She keeps looking and admiring it. "Kim Jongin, I hope that we will meet once again in the heaven. I miss you. A lot." She smiles faintly while looking at the stars.
